Happy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful day, don't eat too much and spend some time reflecting on what you're thankful for (even if you don't share it with everyone).

As for me, there is a great deal to be thankful for, as is usually the case. It's a great day to think about those things and to keep things in their proper perspective.

Rest in Peace

I didn't get a chance to know Maria Mateus very well. But the times that I did get to meet her, she could only be described as an exceedingly sweet woman. I know that my brother, David, was very lucky to have her as a mother-in-law.

It was just a few days ago when I got an e-mail from my brother informing friends and family of Maria's unexpected passing. More information about her services can be found here.

No More Cribs for Little Boys

It was a big day for Kyle as he made the step from his crib to his new toddler bed. Of course, as you can see, there were certain factors that made this transition much easier...like the fact that it was a Thomas the Tank Engine bed!

Kyle was VERY excited and could not help Daddy quickly enough to get his new bed built and set up. I guess when you are getting a bed THIS cool, there is never any time to waste!

Busy Bodies with Nate and Grandma

Kyle went with Grandma and his cousin Nathan to Busy Bodies the other day. Looks like the boys had quite a bit of fun together...for the most part. :-)

The Polar Express

Here are some fun pictures that we got when we took the boys (Nathan and Kyle) on the Polar Express in Williams, AZ. Everyone had a great time!

Enjoy the photos!

Halloween Pictures

Finally! Here are some of the pics we got of Kyle on Halloween...

First, we (we = Daddy) carved our pumpkin!

Another Toddler Update

It was a rough week for the wee one. Somehow, Kyle ended up developing something called "stomatitis." So, he had himself a really difficult few days.

The highest his fever got was about 104.5 (which kinda freaked Mommy and Daddy out just a bit). This happened, of course, in the wee hours of the morning. So, poor Kyle was thrown into the bathtub too try to cool him down. It was awful watching him shivering like crazy and crying because he was sooo cold.
