Need Your Feedback

It has been a rather long time since we have done a poll on the Carrington Family blog. So long, in fact, that one has never actually been done. Ever.

After today, however, everything will change. Birds will start flying north for the winter, people will start taking more pictures of their third child than they did with their first, airlines will be on time, gas prices will go down and, best of all, we can no longer claim that we've never done a poll.

Now, I'm not entirely sure about the other stuff, but the last part is most certainly true. Yes, that's right. We now have a poll available to solicit feedback from our loyal readers. To take part in this poll, you'll have to actually visit the blog site. If you're not sure how to do that, you should probably read about it.

To give you more details on the purpose of this poll, the reason for this is because with the cool technology we have at our disposal, it is possible to alter the way these posts are delivered to you. We can make it so that only the first few sentences or so are delivered to you via e-mail or RSS/Atom feed.

This does a couple of things for you....
  1. Removes the obssessive-compulsive need to save all the e-mails in your inbox so you can read them over and over (not that I blame you)!
  2. Encourages you to visit the site more often so that you don't miss any new and interesting things that are made available there.
  3. By having to go to the site, it will encourage audience participation in the form of comments and other things so you can share your thoughts with everyone else and tell them how awesome these posts are.
I know. I said a couple things and I gave you three. It is quite possible that there could be more, but I fear that they would quickly diminish into some rather petty things that you might not realize enough of a benefit to justify the time you spent reading the rest of the list.

So, stop by the site and take the 2.7 seconds or less that it will take to participate in this poll. The poll closes at midnight, Valentine's Day. (I thought I might somehow be able to incorporate the "show the love" cliche into there this way.)

Look forward to hearing from you!
