While everyone was busy getting ready to celebrate Super Bowl Sunday, we were busy celebrating something quite different. Although we did watch the game later that day (still bummed about the Cards losing, but it was at least an exciting game), the highlight of the day was mid-morning.
Now, usually most of the stuff that I write in here is about Kyle. And most of the reason for that is because he's quite a bit more interesting than I am. I realize that this is not a difficult accomplishment, but it is what it is.
Today, however, the focus is not going to be on toddlers. Instead, this one is about Joelle's mom, Billie. My mother-in-law, for those of you who aren't keeping up.
I am excited and proud and ecstatic and enthused and happy (and whatever other synonymous adjectives you might be able to think of...check your local thesaurus) to announce that on February 1, 2009 I was honored to be present as my beloved mother-in-law publicly declared her acceptance of Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized!
Enjoy the video. (I apologize up front for the fact that there is a bit of a shaky spot as I was trying to get a better position for a clearer shot.)
