What's Been Happening?

Well, it's been a little bit since I've updated everyone on stuff and things and happenings. While I don't actually have any new pictures to post (don't delete the message yet) I thought I'd just give a brief update as to what's happening in "Kyle-topia."

First, yes I just made up yet another term. Though I'd rather not spend much time on that because far more clever things have received less time and attention. So, let's move on from that, then. Shall we?

When last we left the on-going saga of America's favorite toddler (or, mine, anyway) he was being a sweet, loving boy helping to cheer up his sick Mommy. He had just gotten over a bout with the flu himself. He was feeling better by then, with regard to the flu. Though we were not without our challenges.

Just before his flu, we had done a follow-up visit to the G.I. doctor and he recommended that we cut down his Prevacid. As a result, Kyle's eating and sleeping went downhill quickly. Life was quickly degenerating into a nightmare of insomnia and a child so sleep deprived that he was almost incapable of just being his normal, happy self.

A few days after his normal dosage of Prevacid was restored, the appetite came back, the sleep started getting better (though, the napping thing is quite hit and miss still) and with the exception of what I can only assume is "normal" temper tantrums for a child of almost 2 1/2 years, he is back to being himself again.

Some of the funnier things being, his making up words (hmm...who do you suppose he gets that from?) and his belly-laughing at some of the silliest things. It's back to laughing at and with him so much! Welcome back to something like normal.

Hopefully, I'll have some more pictures soon, and Mom....I'll try to remember to e-mail you some directly since you can't get to the site to see them here.

Love you all.

TTFN!
