Aren't Blackberries Cool?

By Blackberry, of course, I mean the handheld device/smart phone rather than a delicious, healthy fruit. And by "cool" I of course mean "geeky".

So, there I was sitting in the van outside Cool Cuts where we went to get Kyle's hair cut. Mommy had already gone in to put his name on the list. Kyle, however, did not go in yet because he had actually fallen asleep in the car (a very rare event, indeed). At this point, one has to wonder how this and the previous paragraph are even remotely connected.

Here's where the Blackberry comes in. Sitting there bored almost to tears, I decided to take a moment and use my handy-dandy Blackberry to snap a quick shot of the little one asleep in his car seat.

After that, I was even trying to see if I could write a post and include said picture on the blog, but while Blackberries are cool enough to have this type of technology available, they fall short when it comes to performance and it was taking entirely too long.

I had originally intended to continue to finish the post on the Blackberry regardless of how many times I had access to a PC. It just seemed like finishing it on a PC was somehow ruining the concept of using the handheld. Performace won out in the end, though, so only the picture and the very first paragraph of this post were done on the Blackberry.

Enjoy the picture! (Notice that I put the picture after all the writing so that you are almost forced to read all this blathering on before you get to see what you came here for. Common marketing trick. Sometimes, it even works!)
