New Baby Pictures

So, did you think that I had forgotten all about updating this blog? Seems like it's been a while since I put up anything new here. But, the long wait is now over and we have some pictures of the baby from this morning's appointment.

I love this one. I can't get over how clear this is...and how much she looks like her big brother! Same little nose, same forehead, same lips and it looks like she's going to have those cheeks!

This one was taken while she was opening and closing her mouth. The fact that this is a still shot sort of takes a bit of that magic away, but it was a nice enough image that I figured I'd include it here.

One last profile shot.

She had her hands up behind her head. Looked as though she was just kicking back and enjoying her time in Mommy's belly. Boy is she in for a rude awakening in just a few more months. Get ready for culture-shock, little one!

So, if you're still here after having viewed the pictures, perhaps you can be of some help. We've been discussing some names for this little girl and we've got a couple front-runners, but one of our options requires a bit more thought due to the various possible ways to spell it. (Both of us are of the opinion that names should use a "normal" spelling rather than go along with the more recent fad of figuring out "creative" ways to spell a "normal-sounding" name.)

One name that we had thought about was Megan. On this one, the only two that spellings that were even brought up were "Megan" or "Meghan" but we decided to make it less complicated and go with the former option.

The second name is a bit harder. We've found so many ways to spell it and we are having a hard time trying to figure out the most "normal" way to spell it. Here are some of the various spellings we've found (in no particular order) and you can feel free to comment here and chime in with your thoughts on it:
