What do you know! We're almost all caught up. Here we are up to a few weeks ago when Mommy, Kyle, Jessica and A. J. went to the Dinosaur museum. I'm not sure how interested A. J was in dinos, but Kyle has been getting really into them lately. So, he was quite excited to see dinosaurs...especially T-Rex!
Another nice thing about this trip is that there are actually a couple shots of Mommy for a change. Let's face it, she's entirely too pretty to keep hiding from the camera all the time and people just need to see her more often so they can be jealous of me. :-)
Now THAT's a big dinosaur. I'm not sure he really got how big they were just based on reading books. This way, he really got to see what we mean when we talk about BIG dinos!
I'm willing to bet he knew this was a triceratops without having to be told.
Here's Mommy and Kyle by what looks like some sort of display of something I assume is really, really old.
Now that's quite a look!
More statues of dinos and their habitat.
That's a heck of a display.
Now, it's time to color your own dinosaur. Kyle chooses (big surprise) a T-Rex.
I'm not sure they were blue, but then I wasn't there and neither were you so who are we to say?
Our OCD kiddo is concentrating to make sure the area is completely colored in.
A. J. comes over to check out Kyle's picture.
Another T-Rex.
Not sure what these have to do with dinosaurs, but I'm guessing there was an explanation.
Notice, he's not putting them on the peg. He's taking them off.
Perhaps they were in the wrong order. Or maybe he figured he could stack them more neatly without the peg. Or it could be (OCD again) that round discs don't belong on a square base. Whatever the case, there's only a couple more to go.
