For anyone who hasn’t already heard, we’re “on call” to induce labor starting tomorrow morning at 7:00am. As I understand it, we’ve got about a 90% chance that they’ll actually get us in tomorrow.
That means, that if all goes smoothly, we’ll have a brand new, bouncing baby girl…possibly by this time tomorrow. How exciting is that?!
There are still all the other things that are not so fun…like the whole labor thing. Granted, I know that I can/will never truly know what that’s like, but I know enough to know that it’s not exactly fun. We’ve got a long day ahead of us tomorrow and Joelle is going to be pretty exhausted by the end of the day.
Since I will be a bit pre-occupied between Joelle and Kaitlyn, I’d just like to take a moment to say a quick “Thank you” in advance to the various people who will be helping to take care of Kyle while we’re in the hospital with Katie.
For now, this will probably be my last post until I get home. As is probably quite normal in these situations, I’m excited, nervous, anxious and a whole host of other emotions all at the same time. Unfortunately, it all comes out a bit blah…like when you mix a whole bunch of paint colors together and get a grayish goo.
