Surprise!

So, when I came home from work last Monday, I was told to go outside to see the surprise that Kyle had for me. I went out back and Kyle could not have seemed a whole lot less interested in seeing me. Hmmm…

Mommy asked Kyle to show me his surprise, so he pointed behind me. As I turned around, imagine my surprise when I saw my dad and step-mom standing there! Wow! I already knew that my sister was flying out that night, but this caught me waaaay off guard.

They spent the week out here and I made sure my dad was reminded of why retirement is so much fun by putting him to work for three of the last four days he was here. More pics on that later, but for now, here’s pics of their first day here.
